BEST IN SHOW
My line up for best in show, presented me with a quality line up and it really did come down to the final run of to confirm the placings. Thus is was the winner of the pastoral group, Knights, CH. WEETONEON POLLY FLINDERS, H. PULI ,who took advantage of the big ring with her light , short stepping , yet smooth action in harmony with her handler ,who nailed it. Under her corded coat is a muscular, strong, well made bitch. I had never been aware of dog or handler, but not surprised when asked, to find this is a big winner. Res BIS, GEE, S, Norfolk Terrier, watercroft calling time. A young bitch that is on top of her game. Not in her best jacket, but the whole picture is of real smart ,sound and very typical Norfolk and one who displays terrier spirit, without being argumentative. Gorgeous head eye and well placed and used ear. Super proportions, plenty after the tail, which never went down, true busy mover. Working group winner, Gt. DANE, ELLERBECK,S, MEHERZUGI WILLIEM (imp Hun) A combination of power and elegance, best describes this boy. Clean, masculine head, arched muscled neck .Stands on ell boned legs and tight padded feet. He goes round holding his shape with easy long stride. The Hound, COX,S, CARLINCOX FIRST CLASS. Only a junior, she depicts type throughout. So fit with the firmest muscle, she has elegance, power and suppleness. So positive in attitude and action. A lovely expression from good eye shape and placement, correct proportions to head with strong muzzle and jaw drawn lips. Very soundly made. The gundog group representative, was, ROTHCHILD,S, COCKER SPANIEL, CACHEL STARETTE AT ROTHMIA. A two year black bitch. Sweetest head & expression. Firm neck through well placed shoulder. Flowing strong topline, short loin, good width behind. Presented in super coat and immaculate presentation. Absolutely true foot fall. Utility winner, ALEXANDER,S, DALMATIAN, OFFORDALE PICASSO. Clean cut, masculine dog. Totally male with clean typical lines. He has a good coat, clear with well placed black spots. Therefore a striking dog standing and even more so on the move, as he retains his outline and has long true gait.
BEST PUPPY IN SHOW.
Future stars here in abundance. I fell for the winner, earlier in the day when I gave this 7 month, Bulldog puppy BOB & BP. I could never professes to be a specialist of this breed and just went with my gut instinct and found her balanced and sound . SEAL,S, SEALVILLE SHE’S PAGE, just fit the brief for me. Obviously not finished in head, but her round eye, set low and forward facing look at you with confidence and attitude beyond her years. The muzzle is short with width and strong underjaw. She has sturdy bone and good brisket, standing on well developed feet. Applicable shape and balance. Moved with purpose and soundly. A real charmer. RBPIS. Whippet, WILTON-CLARK, SHALFLEET THE LOIN KING. Smooth, shapely lines. He has the appearance of activity and is soundly constructed to allow true ease of ground cover. , driving on from strength in hock and muscular definition. Presented in immaculate order. Best Veteran in show. ROBERT’S, ICE MAIDEN SMILE YOSHI AND US. This Samoyed bitch just did not look or act her age, with her striking appearance. Classic outline, topped by gleam coat of good texture and presentation. Beautiful head with good pigmentation and that typical smiling look. Lovely personality enhanced on the move.
