POST GRAD
1 Lewczuk “CALVAXDAR BAD BOY LINCOLN “ TAF D
5 year old, pale red, a smart and very well presented, mature exhibit. Well balanced head which included well shaped eyes of good colour, moderate stop, good pigment. Use his well placed ears to best effect, tight lips, and such a very confident expression. Excellent reach of neck into a high wither which was well defined. His general profile was excellent, especially a firm level top line, held I must say at all times. Good tail set. Shoulders of good length and angle upper arm to match. Very tidy feet, under line correct. Roomy chest of good depth. Hind quarters gave him the desired drive on the move, the moderate turn of stifle an advantage. Smooth action on the move, so well balanced and so well collected. Well done, love him.
2 Wakfields “ CERIINAN VIVICA AT BRINTALA “ B
Another smart red at just over 2 years of age, handled well and came into a really good present when needed. Loved her well balanced head piece, especially her delightfully soft expression. Correct top line from wither to croup, including the correct tail set. Scored well on front assembly, shoulder to upper arm couldn’t be any better. Straight legs, tidy feet completed a better than average assembly. Liked her underline, just a moderate tuck at loin. Well develop hind quarters for one so young. Well let down hock which were short and strong. Gave a fine display on the move, so very sound and running true away and back. Super side gait. Ran a close second to the winner.
3 Ellis “ NETTLES LONDONDERRY FOR FALKOR “ (FIN IMP) D
OPEN DOG
1 Kell & Stewart “ CALVAXAR BORIS THE BLADE “
Approaching 2 year of age, and so much to like about this smart pale red, so very good in presentation, and handled with great care. He just licked so many boxes. Eye shape and colour so very good, neat well placed ears, which kept active at all times. Very masculine expression, confident and alert. Like his reach of neck into a high well developed wither. This one just did not disappoint in any area, the more I looked the more I liked him. All angles good, another with tidy feet on the move he held a superb top line, so very sound, and such a good pace. I’m sure he will continue to improve and please his owners. Well done.
2 Wakefield “INT CH HICKSON MATRIX OF MILO AT BRINTALA “
6 year old mature male, very good for size and substance. He has a very well balanced head. Correct eye shape and colour. Lovely expression, so soft and yet alert. Excellent proportions, even well balanced fore hand, in particular the junction between shoulder and upper arm was so correct. Ok for bone. Good underline. Very workman like rear assembly, robust muscular and well put together. But on the move I felt he eased off a little due I’m sure to the heat. Even so very sound hard choice to separate these two.
3 Wynne-Eyton “BRINTALO VALENTINO AT TWRCYCYMRU “ (IMP FIN) RAF, WAF. Very nice.
OPEN BITCH
1 Newey “ BRINTALA ISABELLA “
3 year old rich red so very feminine and had the confidence of a top draw exhibit. Handled to perfection, and gave a fine display on the move. I felt my only critisisam would be that she is slightly long caste, mind you I’m no breed expert this apart she really did fit the bill. Well balanced head, really good eye shape and colour, correct bite. Best of ears. Good reach of neck typical profile, especially good level top line.
All angles could not be faulted. Stood her ground on inspection, the icing on the cake was her smooth side gait such an effortless far reaching stride, very best of coming and going. Well handled, and one to remember. Well done.
2 Ellis “ GOODSOULS RUMOVE HAS IT ITS FALKOR “
18 month old dark red, what a little cracker, so full of promise, and so well presented. Eased into an incredibly correct present, for one so young. Loved so much about her. Loved her head shape and correct outline, neat ears, soft expression. Such a calm satisfactory outlook. Even proportion throughout. Well balanced fore and aft angles. Very good depth of brisket. Very sound and stylish mover, fraction close away, but not out of place, look forward to seeing her name in lights.
3 Wakefield “CH LEGACYS WISH-FUL THINKING VIA ARITAUR “ Out standing veteran of superb type. Well done, to keep her up to speed on such a hot day.
