Old English Sheepdogs
Thank you to the society for the invitation to judge at your show. Thanks also the exhibitors who entered. It was good to see all dogs were well groomed and in good condition. Sadly a few absentees due to illness both in dogs and owners.
Puppy (2 – 1)
First – Pointon & Wood’s Vigilat’s Rhapsody in Blue (Imp NLD) – 8 month old puppy of a good shape, well bodied and upstanding. Well developed for his age. Dark eye, well pigmented, good bite with square muzzle. Nicely arched neck. Good coat colour, moved well with drive. A promising puppy, should have a bright future. Best Puppy and pleased to see he was awarded puppy group 3 later in the day.
Junior – (2 – 1)
First – Deakin’s Holanja Goody Too Shoes at Darwillow – 15 month old bitch. Maturing well with a good coat that is clearing well. Balanced head with good bite. Dark eyes well pigmented. Enough neck leading to well laid back shoulders. Gentle rise to loin. Moved well once settled.
Graduate (5 – 4)
First – Cheshire’s Molyneux Start Me Up – Square head with good muzzle and scissor bite. Dark eyes with full pigment. Well laid back shoulders with gentle rise to loin. Coat changing well, but right for his age. Strong mover and presented well.
First – Naismith’s Zottels Honey Moon at Shaggybo – A well made bitch with a square head, strong muzzle with good scissor bite. Brown eyes well pigmented. Nicely arched neck and well laid back shoulders and deep brisket. Nice rise to loin. Coat of good colour and texture. Moved effortlessly around the ring. Best of Breed
Second – Deakin’s Ch Oldoak Kings Randsom at Darwillow – Good head with square muzzle and good bite. Dark eyes fully pigmented. Deep brisket, sound body. A well made dog with plenty of substance. Moved with drive. A worthy Champion.
