AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOGS
POST GRAD DOG
1 Jebson & Plummer “ AUSTMAN IRONMAN “
18 month old on the bottom rung off the ladder but oh my a very promising future I hope. Best of head, a red with a striking expression, soft and yet quite keen. Really does need to fill out, but ok for bone, and having such well made fore and aft angles, tidy feet, sound and well presented.
LIMIT DOG
1 Wright ,Smith, & Cartwright “L’INCANTO DI MONTE TONICO “(IMP ITA)
3 half year old Blue with red overlay, a very well boned strong male, in his prime, and excellent type, best of heads, really well balanced. Used his ears most of the time. Strong level top line, good tail set All angles were word perfect. Elbows well tucked in. ok for bone, very tidy feet Well presented, a runner took him around, and really got the best out of him, such a smooth far reaching side gait. Good coming and going. Looked good in the challenge. BD, BOB. About time. Well done.
2 Jebsons “COOLARA TE DREAMING”
4 year old red, quite mature for his age, but so much to like about him, I’m sure another year will see an improvement. Well balanced profile, settled in presentation. Ok for bone, and had really good shoulders. Top line, ok at times, a bit of a gay tail. A little close away but sound coming and had some reach on side gait. Likable.
OPEN DOG
1 Jebson & Plummer. “ AUSTMANS DOPPLER EFFECT “
2 year old, blue mottled or spotted which ever you like. Now this one I’ve seen before and he just does not disappoint. Not a big dog, a fact that put him in the reserve seat for today. Such a well balanced exhibit, both in head and body. Very confident in presentation, very bright expression, best of eyes and ears. Top line good, all angles good. On the move he showed a gait that would be there at the end of the day, a well deserved RCC, with more to come I’m sure.
PUPPY BITCH
1 Jebson “ AUSTMANS SIXTH SENCE “
8 month old blue. A well put together young lady, showing a confidence beyond her years, handled to perfection. At this age only time will tell, but for me now, I feel she has a bright future. So very feminine, and yet good for type, I would like her to grow on with a little more substance, darling of an expression, eye’s, ears, planes all good, top line couldn’t be better, most of the time. Good front and rear assemblies. Tidy feet, ultra sound. BP. Well done on RBCC.
JUNIOR BITCH
1 Jebson “ AUSTMANS NEVER HAVE I EVER “
14 month old blue, such a striking young lady with a handler who ticked all the boxes, keeping her on her toes and, producing a faultless presentation. She scored so well for type, feminine head, yet very cattle dog expression, by that I mean keen, alert and very composed. Good reach of neck, spot on top line, very good tail carriage. Best of front and rear assembly. Nice tuck at loin. Move out so well, just the right pace, collected, smooth effortless side gait BCC. Couldn’t be any better. Well done.
OPEN BITCH
1 Jebson “ CH AUSTMANS GOOD CALL “
3 year old mature girl, a blue who was put out of the frame by her stable mates, so much to like about her, but today, just a fraction jaded. I’m putting that down to the weather. There is so much to like about her, I have seen her on top form and I’m sure I will again. Smart feminine head. Neck to croup good, high wither, lost her top line at times in presentation, ok for bone and good feet, liked her front construction coupled to a strong well made rear. Moved out soundly, but really did need another year.
VETERAN BITCH
1 Omlo “ OMLO HANDLED BY JEBSON. “AUSTMANS KUNG FU BLU” SHCM,
8 year old mature blue, she just needs to firm up her top line to be in with a better chance in the challenge. Lovely feminine head and expression, she is confident, but seems to loose interest at times, handler really did work hard to keep her on board. Good front, ok for bone. Underline good, good chest proportion, like most today. Didn’t put enough effort into her gaiting, even so she is sound and well collected. Stirling effort by the handler. B V.
