My thanks to my stewards Barry & Marjorie Allison. A pleasing entry where quality dogs from a variety of kennels featured amongst the class winners. It was most pleasing to see the BOB take gundog G3 under the gundog expert Mrs Iles. I would like to thank exhibitors for their entries they were all appreciated.

1. Snaith – Skilaki Move On Up To Bifonda
Well angulated eight months puppy with pleasing breed outline and carrying better body condition at this stage than the second dog. Eyes well set and coloured, ears of correct length, set high, topline level and depth of brisket proportionate. Well balanced head and sound on the move, a promising youngster, BPD, BPOS.
2. Brierley & Needham – Grausturm Hairy Potter (Imp AUS)
Eleven months longhaired, strikingly pleasing head with lovely expression and good bite, ears lengthy and well set, clean outline though rather long in neck I considered, particularly short at the couplings. A super flowing mover with excellent forward reach though not quite as tight in front at this stage as the winner. Well muscled hindquarters and quality textured coat.

This sixteen months old is very well muscled and presented in excellent condition, head balanced with moderate stop, eyes well coloured and set, correctly placed and lengthy ears, level topline, Well angulated throughout with equal depth to height, feet, firm, well padded and compact. 2. Palmer – Kalimor Claude At Parmelly
Nineteen months with most attractive head and expression, head well proportioned and with correct planes but not the overall length of the winner in this department. Reasonable topline, strong bone and compact, well padded and raised feet, not quite the bend of stifle of the winner and appeared shorter in neck. Well sprung ribcage extending well back, good depth of body, very sound and true mover.
3. Frederick – Gunalt Benedition Of Vlammen
Two years four months not quite conveying the masculinity and finish in the head of the winners, correct and pleasing overall shape and outline, good strong bone and firm, compact feet, could carry slightly more body to his advantage in my opinion. Well constructed overall with tail pleasingly set and carried. A sound mover with good reach and stretch in profile.

Well sprung ribcage with length, firm, level topline and showing daylight underneath with moderate tuck-up. Well muscled hindquarters for his age with strong second thighs.
2. O’Donoghue – Sireva Linesman At Weimsmyre
Three years old a finer build than the winner with dash of white on front very well constructed overall and carrying better condition than the third dog with well muscled hindquarters. Tending to pace rather on the day but got into his stride eventually.

1. Clarke – Sh.Ch. Sireva Crackerjack At Coastedge JW Sh.CM.
Five years eight months dog of super quality, substance and breed type, medium and moderate in all regards presented in super fit, hard muscled condition with the best finished hindquarters in the entry. Aristocratic expression on well balanced moderately long head, excellent dentition, delightful head qualities all round, super straight, true well boned front down to strong pasterns correctly set, close well padded feet. Firmly coupled and very strong across the loins, good spring of ribcage protecting well back, level topline, with lovely balance to depth of brisket, well turned stifles. Carries tail slightly raised but a minor issue for me on an outstandingly typical dog of good coat and even colour with so many great breed virtues on show. The clear winner today, CC & BOB and delighted that he later joined my group winning Clumber with a group three gundog placing under the esteemed gundog authority Mrs Julia Iles.
2. Ruddy – Sh.Ch. Netherhills Got Talent JW
Five years old quality dog, most typical, more compact outline than the winner and showing even more effortless reach and drive on the move through highly sound and determined action front and rear. Very well angulated overall, moderate, strong neck, level topline, loins well muscled, lovely proportionate depth, with ribcage well sprung and set back. Well balanced head though here length to balance is at the maximum for me, Res CC.
3. Rayner & Maskell – Sh.Ch. Gunalt Academy Of Raystans JW Sh.CM.
Rising four years another impressively fit exhibit, longer in body proportions than those above him on the day and appeared slightly sluggish standing and moving though essentially sound. Eyes well coloured but set closer together than the second dog, good bone, typical close, well padded feet. Neck well placed in shoulders, muscled hindquarters with deep second thighs, pleasing tail set and carriage.

1. Maclaine & Dickson – Sh.Ch./Ir.Sh.Ch. Greyspirit Royal Scot At Trilite Sh.CM. CJW10 Ir.Jun.Ch.
This delightfully typical nine and a quarter year old dog still shows excellent dentition, lovely aristocratic expression and is supported on strong, well formed bone and firm, compact feet. Pleasing balance with length to his outline and correct, unexaggerated depth of body, has not dropped excessively with age and carries reasonable body condition for his years. Head well proportioned, correct moderate stop, ears set high with length. A tendency to crab slightly on the move today but essentially a sound and impressive veteran.

Powerfully constructed thirteen months old bitch wonderfully well angulated and totally balanced supported on the very best of strong bone and compact feet, well padded and firm. Striking breed outline, well sprung ribcage reaching well back, first class topline and strong across well covered loins for her age. Head moderately long with aristocratic look, moderate stop, excellent length of muzzle, nostrils wide and full. Plenty of daylight on show with correct tuck up to flank, outstanding hindquarter and second thigh development for a young bitch. A true parallel mover with determined forward reach and effortless rear drive head held correctly and lovely thick tail set and carried well. Super quality presence, proportions and breed type most worth of BJ & Res CC on the day. A great future awaits her I am sure.
2. Hesford & Campbell – Gunalt Move It To Pipwell

Head qualities are also impressive with length of skull and muzzle in equal proportion, nostrils wide, ears set high and folded, eyes well coloured, shaped and set offering a most delightful expression. A very active mover with excellent construction on show, ribcage well sprung, moderate tuck up, well turned stifles. Tail well set and carried off the best of well muscled hindquarters. A quality bitch demonstrating type, power and breed balance.
2. McDowell & Rutland – Sireva Hot Line To Khamsynn JW
Two years with most attractive breed outline good body length and fullness in the fore-chest, strong, well muscled across the loins, level firm topline on display. Head well proportioned and balanced but not quite the finish at present of the winner for me and slightly finer bone on show. Correct depth of body and demonstrated excellent, sound, flowing movement with forward reach and good rear drive.
3. Cooper – Deifstock Dazzling Star JW
Two and a half years notably well shaped skull with length and correct balance to muzzle, planes well set with moderate stop, another super fronted bitch with full sternum on show and good depth of body with plenty of daylight underneath. Ribcage well sprung reaching well back, stifles well turned. Presented in well bodied condition with strongly muscled hindquarters not quite the forward extension of the winners on the move today.

1. Stafford – Gunalt Repartee Farnfield
At two years two months a bitch of top quality, lithe, strong, powerful and highly active with energetic temperament. Full of type and breed essence, attractive overall length and well balanced frame, flowing outline handled to advantage. Head feminine, pleasingly long, flews moderate with good dentition, expression noble, refined and most appealing, nostrils wide and full, ears of good length well set and folded. Nothing exaggerated in her presentation today body condition just right and plenty of mature muscle condition on show including deep second thighs, skin firm close, lovely leg length to depth of body and neat tuck-up. Well coupled at the loins following on from a lengthy, well sprung ribcage, topline beautifully level. The best parallel moving bitch in the entry with outstanding forward stretch and superb driving reach effortlessly covering the ground with head and well set tail carried correctly. Although her coat had not quite cleared on her tail her many striking virtues outweighed this minor blemish but helped decide the challenge for BOB a most deserving CC & BOS.
2. Hazeltine, Crowther & Alcorn – Hundwith Chortle With Hookwood
Sixteen months loved the outline on this bitch and the reach and drive she showed in moving though for me she dose not quite possess the finish in the head of the winning bitch at present. Well sprung ribcage, excellent strength across the loins, head balanced and well proportioned. Clean sweep of arched moderate neck into well placed shoulders, quality, strong bone throughout and good depth of body. She did not look out of place in the slightest when she came in for the challenge and pushed the reserve CC winner closely as she covers the ground so well when moving.
3. Reilly, Rayner & Maske – Smilek Eyes Of Silver JW
Two years four months with a tad more body length on show than the winners, lovely head most typical, balanced with kind expression, ears lengthy and well set. Excellent forward angulation, clean, sweeping neck with level topline, turn of stifles at the maximum for me, moved with impressive forward reach and drive though tail carriage tended to be rather raised on times for me.

1. Batty – Edingorse Ethereal At Almoor JW Sh.CM.
Rising five years medium sized and a picture of stamina so well muscled and presented overall. A very sound, true mover with correct parallel gait demonstrating good reach and drive which won her the class. Refined expression on a mature and well shaped head with occiput showing and medium line distinct, moderate stop, nostrils full and well fleshed. Good bite, powerful jaws, lovely profile outline, flowing and well constructed throughout a bitch without exaggerations and everything present in moderation. Well sprung ribcage with strong bone overall and compact, well raised feet, very fit. Carried herself nobly around the ring tightly knit all around with plenty of forward extension and drive on show. Met with some equal quality company in the challenge and pushed the winners hard. A credit to the breed and her owner.
2. Simpson & Dawson – Ch. Sireva Skype JW
Four years eight months bitch grabbed my attention with her stunning classic breed outline of quality and presence, clean lines, excellent coat and even colour, solidly built at her mature best with sweeping arched neck into well placed shoulders, excellent level topline. Ribcage well sprung extending well back, front firm, straight standing with full sternum on show, body well conditioned. Most appealing feminine head and expression, moderate length and strong jaws. Moved soundly but with a tendency to play around in front on times which I found off putting but a most worthy champion and a real asset to the breed the dam I note of my reserve CC bitch winner.
3. Cooper – Deifstock Ducati Demon JW
Rising five years another displaying a lovely quality head, attractive eye colour, set and shape, more compact build than the second bitch, most typical throughout with strong bone and level topline, well sprung ribcage, muscled across the loins with pleasing tuck-up. Correct depth of body and a very sound mover with forward reach and determined drive. Completed three quality bitches all worthy of a title in my opinion.

1. Maclaine & Dickson – Sh.Ch. Greyspirit Missy Sippi JW Sh.CM
At seven years of age a clear winner in this class, typical outline, full, wide nostrils, excellent level topline still with balanced depth of brisket. Well sprung ribcage with good extension, good body condition and hindquarter muscling as a veteran.
2. Stokes – Grandhay Hebe Lemon Quartz
Eight years four months I would like a bit more length of muzzle but her outline overall is well proportioned though her topline is beginning to dip with age. Well turned stifles, straight in front with pleasing depth of body to length of foreleg. Displays quality appeal and true breed type and rather better muscled hindquarters than the winner.
3. Read – Longtails Beretta By Whitecross (AI)
Eight years ten months looking really well for her years presented in lovely coat, attractive feathering and condition, excellent strength of bone and balanced depth of body, level topline, tail well set and carried, muscled hindquarters with deep second thighs on display. Three lovely veterans and great to see them out in the sunshine looking so well.
