Apologies if I have missed any results out in my catch up (my facebook stalking hasn’t been as good lately!). Just let me know and I’ll pop them in next week’s notes.
I also picked up some Chi results in Agility. Naomi Hosker’s The Star in the Skye (aka Skye) is 3 and a half years old. She has been training and competing in agility since 18 months old. Naomi and Skye were at Dog Vegas last weekend. They are currently grade 5 and this was Skye’s first show at grade 5. They achieved 3 wins and 2 clear rounds towards their Grade 6. A little while ago the Lower Height Option was introduced in to agility, which for our teeny tiny breeds is great! There are very few Chi’s competing at this level in Agility so I was really pleased to be able to get in touch with Naomi and chat to her about Skye. Our littlies can do everything the big dogs do!
In my other life, I am a teacher in a Catholic secondary school. Three of our staff went on pilgrimage over half term to Lourdes and brought back Holy Water. I’ve given all my lot a few drops on their dinner! But it did get me thinking about the things we do for luck. I have a lucky pair of earrings I always wear for showing. I’d really like to hear the things you all do for luck when showing… answers on a postcard please!
Please keep those results coming in, big or small (even if it’s that you just managed to get your new puppy to walk on a lead!), new show hopefuls, funny stories… I want to hear them! As usual, email, facebook, smoke signals or the good old fashioned telephone. Have a great week folks!
