Well, what a beautiful bank holiday it is today in Chihuahua Town! The sun is shining, the little Mexicans are out in the garden and enjoying the sun.
Last week I said I was off to find a new car for the Chihuahuas (aka Chihuahua mobile). I duly reported to the garage on Monday morning, whereupon a very nice man set about finding me what I wanted. He laughed his socks off at my list of requirements ‘for the dogs’. I kid you not, I took the show trolley to the garage so I could check it would fit in the boot of my new car! Many of you will have seen my new ‘Satsuma’ (it’s orange) – which means I’ll be able to find it in the car park at dog shows. So, big boot, climate control, tinted rear windows (all for the dogs), in built sat nav (to get to dog shows), parking sensors (for getting out of the car park at dog shows) and a whole host of other buttons and stuff I have yet to work out. Oh yes, and on board wifi so mum can be on facebook and ebay on the way to and from dog shows! Many thanks to the lovely Bradley at Arnold Clark (who turned out to be a massive dog lover) for pandering to my list of requirements, finding me the right car and getting it transported to the Midlands from Manchester. Customer service at its best.

Good luck and safe travels to all of you making the journey over to Ireland for Ulster Chihuahua Club Championship Show this weekend. I have all the family here (aunts, uncles, cousins etc) for our usual Easter bash, hence why I won’t be there. As I type, I am on my second glass of Aldi’s Grapefruit and Mandarin gin which I am diligently testing ready for the weekend. So I’m blaming any spelling or grammar mistakes on that.
I’ll see those of you at Derby on Sunday, which has a super entry for Chihuahuas, as usual.
Happy Easter to all of you and your four legged friends!
