BIS and the BCC was Sarah Dunlop and Karen Mclellan’s Ch Habiba Reign On, handled as always by Robert Dunlop, with RBIS & BOS going to the DCC winner Jacqueline De Klerk’s Habiba Veni Vidi Vici and BPIS to Stuart Payne and Robert Dunlop’s Habiba As You Were. RDCC went to Jane Oliver’s Ynchreenoo Condoo JW with RBCC to Karen & Elizabeth Wilson’s Habiba Chasing Rainbows. BVIS went to Carol Richardson’s Iliana White Opal who was also the oldest dog in Show. Well done to all winners!
Not much news from open shows but well done to Alan McKenzie who at Selkirk open show went BOB and Toy Group 2 with his and Kevin Muldoon’s Scherzando Roxy’s dancer Von Queshian.
Entries are in for WELKS with Dianne Spavin attracting 55 dogs making 70 entries. Its interesting to see most shows have been down on the prior year so far in 2018 and some by quite a lot. Lets hope some summer sun and outside shows brings them back up again!
The Breed History Archiving project is now underway and looking for contributions, so if anyone can lend anything historical or of interest please do bring it to WELKS and give to Dianne Boden who will take very good care of it whilst storing it digitally and ensure you get it all back safely. We really do need to ensure we protect our breeds history and storing it digitally will ensure future generations can benefit from the wealth of information and photos out there.
Good luck wherever you are showing and enjoy your day!
