Golden Retrievers
Puppy 2/4
Two very promising puppies. 1.Leyland’s Applecote Mermaids Kiss. An 11 month golden bitch with a balanced head, good straight front and well laid shoulder, in good coat with well bent stifles. Moved well considering size of ring. BP. Moved to advantage outside in the group. Puppy Group 4. 2. Birkin Green and Shipton’s Sansue Keep the Magic. An 8 month young cream boy with a lot to like. Good head plenty of work there to develop, dark eye, plenty of heart room, balanced for age, not as steady on move as 1.
Junior 1/3
Booth’s Rokamoka Wind Dreamer. Cream bitch of 15 months. Well presented girl with a good head and kind dark eye. She has super bone and lovely neat tight feet. A little erratic on the move but this did not detract from her level topline, good stifle and well let down hocks. She has plenty of time on her side.
Post Graduate
1.Booth’s Alumbeck’s Holly Rainbow. Mature golden girl presenting a good outline although shorter in back than some, she was balanced on the move, has excellent bone, good forechest. Won on maturity. RBOB. 2. Smith’s Goldtinkred Moon River at Rokamoka. A 20 month cream boy , has a good straight front, tight feet, good bone. He is still young, needs to drop in loin, but has time on his side, moved well.
Open Dog
1.Humphrey’s Abnalls Sebastian. A veteran of 9 years who has good bone , straight front, good depth in chest. Could have moved better, but size of ring did not help. He won on maturity today. 2. Price’s. Elsiegwen Mischievious Boy. A 19 month golden young boy with a lot to like. Gorgeous head with more to come, well off for bone, presents a good outline. Movement a little unbalanced, could do better without the attraction of treats. One to watch.
Open Bitch 4/5
1.Smith’s Rokamoka Harbour Lights. A delightful 4 year old golden lady. She is mature with a good head, kind eye, good length of neck flowing into a well laid shoulder. She has a deep. chest with plenty of heart room. She was in good coat and held her topline on the move, driving from the rear which she showed to advantage later in the group. BOB Group 3. 2. Lane and Lane-Ridyard’s Amblemere Spirit In The Sky of Kulawand. A 3 year old golden girl with a lot to like. Lovely disposition with a good forechest, excellent bone, balanced head, well laid shoulder. She was balanced on the move, splitting hairs here. 3. Hudson’s. Aymesbury Ashisha JW.
