1 Martin Laoirebay Steel Blue Ocean at Shannonstyle 3 litter mates in this class. A well balanced young man who was comfortably the best mover in this class. Excellent top line maintained on move. Good neck set on very good shoulders – excellent angulation. Rear angles similarly good RBOB
2 Ball Harrison Laoirebay She’s Leaving Home to Siorrudh Another nice top line. Not as positive on the move as winner. Pretty feminine head. Very good angulation. Would have liked a little more substance but that will come in time.
3 Callaghan Laoirebay Penny Lane

Golden Retrievers
It was a privilege to judge an entry of quality exhibits and I would have liked a few more red cards. The juveniles in particular displayed strength in depth
Minor Puppy (12 3 absent)
1 O’Gorman Thornywait Top Notch For Berrymeade. A stunning young lady who I had previously admired from the ringside. Certainly not disappointed when I got my hands on her. Immaculately presented, a credit to her owner. Absolutely beautiful shape, balanced and flowing. Gorgeous pretty, feminine head with the gentlest of expressions. Good length of neck set on a superb layback of shoulders. Angulation both fore and aft just as you would want it to be. Plenty of depth to the body and well sprung in rib. Moved with drive and showed in a thoroughly assured manner. Won what was a strong class fairly comfortably. Best Puppy in Breed and PG2. A bright future for this one.
2 Cook Calarose Precious Gem. Another one that I liked a lot and one that will pick up her share of red cards. Solid, compact and balanced girl who looked outstanding in profile. Good bone, straight in front and level top line. Well presented, handled well and moved steadily. Lovely feminine and well proportioned head. Very good layback of shoulder and super rear angles. Will look out for her future results
3 Swatton Suntide Morris Minor
Puppy (12 4 absent)
1 Mathews Mavistan Pandora Very feminine young lady with super compact shape and all her bits where I wanted them to be. Moved effortlessly straight and true. Nice clean shape with straight top line. Angulation well defined with nothing exaggerated about it. Correct weight and showed in superb condition. Unlucky to meet the outstanding minor puppy but she will not go short of red cards for the future
2 Cook Calarose Precious Gem
3 Swatton Suntide Morris Minor
Junior (10 3 absent}
1 Scott and Briggs Largymore Lingering Look Yet another extremely promising youngster. Took my eye immediately as I first looked at line up. Beautifully presented in mid gold coat in super condition. Such a sweet feminine and balanced head. Elegant neck set on well laid back shoulders. Very adequate depth in body and straight front with good width. Again really defined angles without being overdone. As she matures I can see her being a contender in any company
2 List Haydengold Rumour Has It. A lot to like about this girl I preferred the front of the winner but not a lot in it. Moved out well with good drive and correct tail carriage. Beautiful feminine head and elegant neck. Shoulders where I wanted them to be – well laid back and correct upper arm. Level top line, sufficient depth to body and short coupled. Yet another with a bright future
3 Russell Rosinante Mirabelle

3 Vicars Peersbrook Game Set Match
Post Graduate (5 0 absent)
1 Pounds- Longhurst Rosgar Dolly O’Dare Among Mossburn Quite a different type to most of the rest but little to fault with her conformation. Has, I think, bodied up a little since I last judged her. Nice clean neck set on superbly laid back shoulders. Rear angulation as good. Straight front and sufficient depth to body with good spring of rib. Moved positively with drive
2 Vicars Peersbrook Game Set Match Would probably like to see more substance to him but he is only 15 months old. Similarly I await development of his head. Has a correct straight top line. Correct length of neck. Angulation both front and rear is good.
3 Rainbird Nativegold Somos Novios
Mid Limit (6 2 absent)
1 Rodgers Rojillair Evening Magic of Odarla Lovely well made bitch. Being over fussy I would have preferred slightly less weight but this marginal. Beautiful melting expression and elegant extended neck. Really nice angles, not over done but great shape. Depth to body and plenty of rib. Presented in good condition of coat.
