My thanks to the exhibitors for the wonderful entry and being given the opportunity to handle so many beautiful dogs, Quality in the classes just oozed from the exhibits, the Open class was amazing, I was so spoilt for choice I could have done with many more prize cards. Whippet’s were all presented in good condition with shining coats, and mostly with plenty of muscle tone.

1st Hill’s Kierpark LIVIN ON A PRAYER Shcm, Fawn/White parti colour seven and a half years old, pleasing head with a gentle melting expression, neat ears and a graceful neck, deep brisket, good flowing outline standing and moving, strong bones, standing four square.
2nd Whitehead, Smith & Mixides CH CITYCROFT STAR GAZING OVER YIALOUSA JW. Quality dog without any exaggeration, presented in excellent condition, pleasing head, deep brisket, good outline, moved easily around the ring.

1st Wallace COLLOONEY PLAYING AWAY AT COURTBIRCH, Pale Fawn, very immature puppy, pleasing outline with elegant neck leading into well laid shoulders, standing four square, moving easily and true.
2nd Head’s DEMERLAY HANDSOME HARRY Pale Fawn, well behaved puppy, excellent front with elegant arched neck leading into well laid shoulders good front angulation, moved well.

1st Wilton-Clark’s SHALFLEET HEATWAVE Fawn /White parti. attractive young dog, straight front well angulated shoulders and upper arm, good depth of brisket, pleasing outline, which was held on the move, strong hindquarter, moved with ease around the ring. Pleased to award him Best Puppy Dog and with my co-judge Best Puppy in Breed.

2nd Barkas’s CITYCROFT FRED ASTAIRE Red brindle/white, slightly stronger dog than one, again a shapely dog, pleasing head, neat ears, excellent outline, strong hindquarters.

1st Place’s AARMINIAS LUV THE WAY YOU LIE JW Silver fawn brindle, I was instantly attracted to this young dog, with his elegant outline, graceful neck into well laid shoulders, standing so straight and true, with strong well angulated hindquarters, long forward reaching stride around the ring covering the ground with such ease, a pleasure to watch.
2nd Price WHEELSPIN SILVER SHADOW AMONG SILKDANCE JW Fawn white trim, again a shapely elegant dog, well angulated front and rear, standing four square, and moving true and easily around the ring.

2nd Brown’s TAMALDEN DONATELLO Red brindle, excellent curvy dog with elegant neck, pleasing topline and underline, strong hindquarters, moved well when he actually concentrated on the job in hand.

2nd Austin’s ELEQUAL CLASSIC STONE Red/white brindle, very attractive dog to handle, strong straight legs, neat feet, well laid shoulders and a flowing topline, shown in excellent condition, strong hindquarters, moved with plenty of drive in the ring.

1st Mycroft’s SUPETA’S SECRET WEAPON Red/brindle, very masculine dog, with a pleasing head, graceful neck into shoulder, and deep brisket, good return of upper arm and lay of shoulder, curvy topine and underline, strong hindquarters, with plenty of drive moving round the ring.
2nd Rishworth’s KIERPARK WITH OR WITHOUT YOU Fawn brindle, smaller dog than one, pleasing head and expression, good neck into well laid shoulders, elegant shape, well turned hindquarters, just didn’t have the drive of one on the move round the ring.
3rd Irving & Mcmillan’s CROSSCOP BRING ME SUNSHINE

2nd Andrew & Rees KIERPARK HELLO LOVE JW Fawn brindle/white trim, slightly heavier than one, but a very elegant whippet shown in top condition, smooth front assembly, good topline, with well defined loin, strong well angulated hind quarters, moved well.

Open dog was an amazing class to judge so many well balanced and sound whippets, shown in outstanding condition they were all a pleasure to handle, my thanks to the exhibitors for this opportunity.
1st Johnston, CH DANLUKE LORD OF THE DANCE JW Dog CC What can I say about this pale fawn/brindle dog that hasn’t already been said, His balance and overall condition commands attention, pleasing head with neat thin ears, graceful arched neck, leading into well laid back shoulders, strong bones to legs, neat feet, excellent shape, with strong well defined loin, good hindquarter well let down hocks, moved with long low easy strides covering the ring with ease, he is a pleasure to watch and handle.
2nd Dillon’s CH KIERPARK SMOOTH CRIMINAL AT RUNFOREST JW fawn/brindle/white parti, very sound dog standing, moving so true, and with such ease, excellent outline, makes you want to run your hands over the dog, pleasing head graceful neck well laid shoulders, strong loin, strong well angulated hindquarters.
3rd Tope’s CH FALCONCRAG CLASS ACT FOR DEWERSTONE JW ShCM another beautiful whippet again all the correct curves, strong and graceful with easy movement.
