Eastwood Kennel Association Open Show

An excellent well run and friendly show at a super venue, Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge at this show and to all the exhibitors who showed their dogs under me.
Hound group.
- Adams Tecklegarth Gatling, superb standard brindle Wirehaired Dachshund dog whom I judged earlier in the day in the breed. Outstanding youngster typical of the breed, full of character and attitude. Super head and eye, long muscular neck into clean well set shoulders, good forequarters, long well muscledbody, short strong loin, well ribbed, good ground clearance allowing free flowing movement with good drive from his hindquarters. Full rump sufficiently muscled, in super condition and coat, excellent topline and tailset, moved around the ring like a true showman, my star of the day. At just 11 months my group winner and Puppy group winner and delighted to hear he was RBPIS. Well done.
- Garratt, Oakey & Owen, Glenoak Luah from Caryna, Beautiful Saluki bitch, graceful and elegant in tiptop condition, very feminine head sleek graceful body totally in proportion, excellent neck and shoulders, lovely forechest and rib, good legs and feet, excellent on the move, giving her all for her owner
- Fossett’s Lokmadi Peggy Sue for Brysdax, lovely red miniature smooth dachshund bitch, judged earlier in the day. Super sweet feminine head, with beautiful expression, oozing with charm, deep chest, good body of correct length and ground clearance, good neck and shoulders, sufficient muscle, looked well in profile and on the move, holding excellent topline . Moved with purpose around the ring – loved her attitude.
- Leech’s Ir Ch Gavelkind Conquistador by Jamchala, Basset Fauve de Bretangne, dog judged earlier in the day, very nice male good head typical of the breed, strong muscular hindquarters, thick muscular neck, well rounded ribs, good tight feet good tail thick at base and carried correctly, good moving dog striding out well .
Puppy Group.
- Adams, Tecklegarth Gatling . Standard wirehaired Dachshund
- Perkins, Snowleana Errol Flynn of SilkridgeWhippet, lovely type, blue dog, super hound head, good eye, typical of the breed, lovely length of neck into good shoulders, excellent front and nice chest, good mover around the ring well deserved group place.
- Garratt & Oakey’s Inchidoney Memories Oh My God with Caryna (impFra) Greyhound, Judged earlier in the day, outstanding youngster, of impeccable grace and elegance and build for speed, super muscle, lovely head good strong neck, good shoulders, clean front and deep chest, super legs and firm muscled quarters, excellent in profile and so good on the move. Loved her.
- Dawson & Goodalls, Evalux Cashmere Upon Rundle (Imp IT) Beagle, what a showgirl this lovely young bitch is, beautiful type, super sweet head, firm muscular neck and well laid back shoulders, on her toes with a smashing front, good rib, firm quarters correct topline and tailset, super mover around the ring.
Dachshund (Wirehaired) Junior dog/bitch (2. 1a)

Full rump sufficiently muscled, in super condition and coat, excellent topline and tailset, moved around the ring like a true showman, my star of the day. - Hambling’s Chaseover Eleanor, nice black and tan puppy bitch, sweetest of heads and expression, nice legs and feet good length of rib in super condition, not quiet as confident as 1 on the move today.

- Baker & Clements, Duke Midnight William, Chocolate & tan male, nice head, good neck and shoulders deep chest, good feet and legs, positive on the move holding a good tailset and topline.

- Parker & Hitch’s Zendushkas Glenmorangie ShCM, Afghan, super example of the breed 11 years old and looking like a youngster, so charming and elegant, a delight to judge, in super condition and coat, fabulous head, long strong neck held proud, long sloping shoulders set well back, good depth of check, and correct length of body, good forequarters, correct tail with ring, held correctly on the move, excellent mover around the ring, a beautiful specimen of the breed and a credit to hisowner
- Leech’s Ch Scooby Doo with Soletrader ShCM , Basset Fauve de Bretangne, very nice male good head , muscular hindquarters, good neck & shoulder, well rounded ribs, good tight feet good tail thick at base and carried correctly, good movinglooked well standing and on the move.
