21st October 2018
Been a while since the last update (sometimes things just have to give way to the work priorities that pay the bills). It has been a bit hectic over the last couple of weekends for exhibitors with the GWPC Open Show and 2 Championship Shows (Driffield and South Wales Kennel).
Sh Ch Kimmax Kurious George bounced back from losing out to his younger half brother at Darlington, to take Best of Breed in all 3 shows, helping him remain the current GWP leader in the Our Dogs, Top Dogs competition.

GWPC Field Trial Update
On 6th October, the GWPC held a Novice Field Trial at Coates Marsh Farm, near Carleton in South Yorkshire. The trial proved very popular and was heavily oversubscribed.
Judges on the day were Mr Nigel Cox and Mr Jonathan Holmes.
Sadly no places were awarded on the day, just a COM to. the GSP, Quintana Cloud Berry, handled by Mr Paul Nixon and the Guns Award to the young GWP, Tickencote Fight’t Midnight handled by Mr Peter Howard.
The next Field Trial in the GWP Club calendar is another Novice Trial on Saturday 10th November, at Myerscough College, Nr Preston. Judges are Mr Lee Loveridge and Mr Peter McCullough (yes, that me folks).
Still a few places left if you are quick – entries close 27th Oct. On-line entries, via Fosse data.
You would not believe the time it takes to keep on top of the breed stats, so please do let me know if you think if I have misquoted your dog’s stats, misspelled or omitted anything.
