Hello and Welcome!
I am very excited to introduce the new Juniors Section right here at K9 News. So where better to start than the biggest event on the dog showing calendar; Crufts. Whether you are competing in Handling, Stakes, Agility, Obedience, Flyball, Grooming or just Breed it is one show that we all look forward to. Crufts always has and always will always give me butterflies. Just the prestige of being qualified in any event for the biggest show in the UK is something to be proud of and cherish within itself. Below I have listed all the Judges for each discipline at Crufts 2018:
- Stakes (Breed): Mr Paul Harding
- Handling: Mr Adam Rose
- Agility: Mr Simon Chandler
- Obedience: Ms Emma Lavender
- Grooming (Groom Through): Ms Jodie Draper
- Grooming (Clip/Trim & Strip): Ms Dorothy McIntyre
- GCDS YKC Pre Beginners Stakes: Mr John Farr
- Flyball: Mr Wayne O’Rourke
- HTM: Ms J O’Dwyer, Mrs M Hubbard & Mrs J Deakin
So not only am sure you have been practising, making sure your dog is in top condition and have been trolling the internet for the perfect outfit to wear, but it is the perfect time to attend various training days. To polish off the rough edges formed over the christmas break, for you to perfect that one thing that you always struggle with or to just try and improve and learn something new. Below I have listed various events that are being held before Crufts, with several different mentors, so that you are ready and raring to go.
