My thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge here and for their hospitality. My entry of dogs was not numerically strong and just from ringside observation I would venture that the bitch entry possessed more quality. In fact I had no hesitation in supporting my fellow judges nomination of his best bitch for BOB and was pleased to hear that she went Gundog Group 1

Sad to say my biggest class
1 Randles Forfarians Hidden Secret with Rionore 14 months of age and has some bodying up and maturing to do. A very promising dog in the making. Comfortably the best mover in the class he retained top line and balance when striding out. Presented a balanced outline and good neck with masculine head. Well presented and a happy showman.
2 Fitzmaurice Harreds Trooper Just turned 12 months old and same remarks regarding body and maturity apply. Balanced in outline and everything where I expected it to be. Somewhat erratic on bthe move
3 Corless Swiftlark Second to None with Magembay
Yearling Dog (2 0 absent)
1 Randles Forfarians Hidden Secret with Rionore
2 Corless Swiftlark Second Thoughts Adequate layback of shoulders. Not as balanced overall as winner. Another in need of bodying up
Post Graduate Dog (2 1 absent)
1 Gilks Danwish the Lion King A fairly big substantial boy. Good front and rear angulation and presented a clean cut balanced profile Good coat and nice masculine head on adequate neck. Good mover. Best Dog but lost out to quality bitch in the challenge
Open Dog (4 2 absent)
1 Andrews Millcroft Moon Riot Good angulation front and rear. Masculine head on correct length of neck. Moved well but flew his tail. Quality coat.
2 Corless Swiftlark First Knight. Had an off day and reluctant to show. Erratic on the move. As far as I could discern nice balanced shape and good conformation
