Isle of Ely
Judge: Rhianna Brooks
I would like to say thank you to the Isle of Ely Dog Show committee for inviting me to judge the YKC Handling on Saturday the 3rd of February and thank you to everyone who entered under me. I would like to congratulate all of my winners and future winners on their success and wish them luck at Crufts 2019.
1st- Megan Slack
Megan came into the ring and presented her dog in the line-up. She made sure there was enough room between herself and the dog in front of her. She then set her dog up on the table and showed the teeth well. Megan’s pattern work was good. Her triangle and her straight up and down was neat too. A very promising and neat young handler.
2nd Emily Perry
Emily was another very good handler who was a lot of potential. Emily came into the ring and set her dog up well. Emily’s pattern work was done well, however a tip for Emily is to make sure that she always starts her pattern work from the judge’s feet.
1st Abigail Levine
Abigail was a lovely handler to judge. She came into the ring and presented her dog beautifully in the line-up. Her dog was set up well and she showed the teeth correctly. Abigail’s pattern work was faultless. Her lines were straight and made sure that she was the correct width away from me when finishing her pattern work.
2nd Bobbi Shepherd
Bobbi was another lovely handler to judge and very close to first place. She came into the ring well and presented her dog nicely. She also showed her dog well on the table and the teeth presented correctly. Her pattern and lines were good just a bit to close at the end of her pattern work. Another polite handler.
1st Rebecca Wallis
Rebecca was a lovely handler to judge. She came into the ring well and presented her dog nicely. Rebecca showed her dog on the table beautifully and presented the teeth correctly. Her lines and pattern were good ending the correct width from me. Another polite handler.
