Basset Fauve De Bretagne
Puppy (3, 1ab)
1st – Ellrich’s Malrich Gingerbread Man
What a gorgeous puppy! He caught my eye as soon as he entered the show-ring. I loved his masculine head with such a lovely expression, and correct ear set. Lovely chunky bone with straight forelegs and tight feet. A short neck into level topline, which he held while on the move, striding out well with tail set on high. I’m looking forward to following his future, which I’m sure will be bright! Delighted to award him BOB and BPIB.
2nd – Thornton’s Mochras Halette
Longer cast than 1, this 6 month old puppy bitch has a nice feminine head and a very sweet expression. She was full of beans for her handler! Straight forelegs with nice tight feet and moved well with tail set on high.
Junior (1, 0ab)
1st – Thornton’s Mochras Ho Ho Ho
A 12 month old male who would not settle when being stacked. He has a masculine head with correct ear-set, a short neck and deep chest. Stifles well bent and moved with tail carried high. Correct harsh and dense coat.
Graduate (3, 1ab)
1st – Thornton’s Mochras Mahcushla
A nice 6 month old feminine bitch. Head is slightly long in length but has a lively expression and correct ear-set. Straight forelegs with correct shoulders slightly sloping. Stifles nicely bent and hocks well let down. Moved well with drive.
2nd – McEwan’s Hibeck Barney Bear At Marunnel
Shorter cast than one. Deep chest and ribs well rounded. Well balanced head with lovely dark eyes and pigmentation. I preferred the neater feet and top line of 1.
