Luton Premier Show 29/12/2018
Puppy (6. 4abs)
1. MYCROFT & BROWN’S SHINY SENSATIONS WISH UPON A START WITH SUPETA (IMP. NLD.)
Good head with dark eye, long neck into well laid shoulder, prominent forechest, excellent bone and ribbing, well balanced angulation, nice outline, moved with food reach and drive. BPIB pleased to see him 3rd in Puppy Group.
2. GOFF’S PAGARNI’S IMITATION GAME
Sweet head, dark eye, a little short and steep in upper arm, good neck, shoulder placement good, good ribbing, well angulated quarters, nice shaped stacked, sound.
Junior (6. 3abs)
1. NEALE’S RUNAROUND STARMAN AT STORMALONG JW
Not an attractive head on this boy, but otherwise he is well built. Decent neck, fair shoulder placement, good forechest and ribbing, good top and underline, well angulated quarters. Moved well keeping his outline.
2. AYLETT’S RICHCLASS TYLERS GIRL
Lovely head and eye, long neck into well placed shoulder, good bone and feet, good forechest and ribbing, bit too steep in croup causing her to appear tucked up in the rear. Moved true fore and aft.
Graduate (4. 2abs)
1. ANDERSON’S GAZENORTH SECRET SERVICE
Fair head, good eye, good neck, good prosternum, decent shoulder placement, would prefer better length to upper arm, good ribbing, powerful quarters. Moved well keeping his curvy shape in profile. Little wide towards.
2. HARGERTY’S MOONFLEUR WHISPERING GRASS
Very attractive head, good eye shape, long neck, good shoulder placement, good forechest and ribbing, thought she could be slightly longer to balance up, well balanced quarters. Sound on the move.
Post Graduate (3. 2abs)
1. HAGGERTY’S MOONFLEUR ROSA PIXIE
Blue/brindle bitch with nice overall shape. Lovely head and eye shape, good neck, prominent forechest, shoulder a little upright with steep upper arm, excellent ribbing, well constructed quarters.
1. SPENCER’S CHELRIDGE LADY GUINEVERE
Bigger bitch but well-constructed. Fair head, bit round in eye, good neck, well laid shoulder, balanced angulation front and rear, good ribbing and bone, moved well keeping her shape.
2. BROWN’S ARDENCOTE SWEET DESTINY FOR BLUESTREAK
Lovely head, good eye, rather forward placed shoulder, good bone, good ribbing, well balanced rear. Sound.
Open (7. 1abs)
1. MITCHELL’S CROSSCOP GLITTERING PRIZE
Beautifully balanced girl on the stack. Lovely head, good eye shape and colour, long neck running into correctly placed and angulated shoulder, good bone and ribbing, good top and underline, beautifully balanced quarters. Stands over plenty of ground. Moved with great reach and drive. BOB.
2. MORRIS, WADDELL & MYCROFT’S CROSSCOP LET IT SHINE FOR SUPETA JW
Very close up to the winner, very much the same type as the winner and not surprised that they are from the same kennel. Most of the same remarks apply to both girls but for me the winner just had the edge on the return of upper arm. Super girl. Very hard decision.
3. BROWN’S ARDENCOTE STAR MAKER
1. HAYWOOD’S YALAMEH SHASMEEN AT MONARDIE (IMP DEU)
Lovely head with correct oval eye, long neck, shoulders sloping and well placed, good ribbing, well developed quarters. Moved soundly. BPIB.
1. POSTMA & SMITH’S FERNLARK ODYSSEY
Upstanding youngster with plenty of quality. Good head shape and dark oval eye, good ear set, would have preferred shoulder slightly better placed, excellent depth and ribbing, great width and balance to quarters. Covered the ground well on the move.
1. FERNLARK ODYSSEY
2. MONK-SCHENK’S AL ZUBEYDA MAHABBAH (IMP FRA)
Very pretty bitch of excellent breed type, unfortunately very nervous today.
1. GARRATT & OAKEY’S CH CARYNA NEFERTI
Cream bitch who has matured well since I last judged her, in fact today she was a little plump. We will blame Christmas! Lovely head, dark eye, long neck, correctly placed shoulder, deep chest and good ribbing, good length to first and second thigh, correct pastern. Moved soundly. BOB.
2. FERNLARK ODYSSEY
3. POSTMA & SMITH’S GLENOAK JADA
Open (7. 3abs)
Very mixed class for type.
1. CULLEN’S SYRDARYA TOFFY POP AT EWEYISSKA
Mature brindle of the type I like. Long head with good underjaw, correctly shaped dark eyes, strong neck, well angulated shoulder, great bone and feet, good deep ribbing, level back with good width to quarters, correct tailset. Moved out well.
2. VIRGO & Hick’s AM. CH. SUNI ASIA WISH UPON A STAR BY SUMAHARI ShCm (IMP. USA)
Very different in type to the winner but also has quality. Today I preferred the masculinity of Toffy Pop and I felt he has the better shoulder placement. Beautifully groomed and handled.
3. BLOOR’S PASHTARI LORD BYRON
1. WORRALL’S LITLAR’S NIJU MONARCH BLUESMURF (IMP. RUS)
Beautiful head, correct eye shape, large ears, long neck, well laid shoulder, little slack in front pasterns, deep brisket, good top and underline, well angulated quarters, good tailset. On the stack he has a lovely outline, just needs to settle and move in a more relaxed manner. BPIB.
2. HERBERT’S DOUCAIS RAGGEDY MAN AT DARUSMAR
This puppy was very immature and desperately needs to body up more. Different in type to winner and I look forward to seeing him in the summer shows.
Very difficult to split the first three, great to find they are littermates.
1. THOMAS’ CH. ANNATEFKAH THEMA AT RUBASU
Beautiful head, correct eye shape, long ears, long neck running into well laid shoulder, good chest and ribbing, straight forelegs, excellent topline and tailset, correctly angulated hindquarters. Moved soundly keeping her outline. Well handled. BOB.
2. HERBERT’S ANNATEFKAH’S TAURET AT DARUSMUR
It was splitting hairs between these two bitches, both lovely and the same remarks apply to both. Showmanship on the day was what made my decision. I am sure all three will change places another day.
3. REEVES’ CH. ANNATEFKAH TUM.
Congratulations Sir, on breeding quality Pharaohs.
