The countdown begins and excitement builds, especially if this will be your first time on the magical green carpet. There is an entry of 226 paps making total entries 241. From Chichester Open Show 28/1/18 in Junior Handling Kara Mason, aged 7, placed 3rd in 6-11years. Good job Kara! In the breed classes Bob and TG3 was Chris Pettys Jansanleis He’s a Belter at Goldenmist, RBOB also went to Chris Petty with Feorlig All You Need is Love at Goldenmist. Bpib was Pat Coxs Denemore Juniper Berrie at Tricianbri. Breed and Toy Group judge was Carol Greenway
Another open show result, this time from Isle of Ely, where Mathews Roxamie Mon Amour took BOB, RBOB went to Diproses Lilacrose Inspired by You and BPIB was Davidsons Cintarshe Red Emerald. Papillon Judge was Fred Ellingford (Klugmaus/Afterglow).

Links to schedules and entry form for the Papillon Club Championship show on 21st April 2018 are now on the clubs web site. Judges for the day are Tom Mather, dogs, and Carolyn Roe, bitches. Referee, junior handling and best fringes Caroline Lee Slater. The show is being held at the kennel club building at Stoneleigh Park.
Amendment to last weeks notes, the two South Wales Championship Shows will be held on Saturday not Sunday 6th October 2018.
Sorry to hear the news that Susan Deamer has broken her leg. I’m sure all the papillon folk will join us to wish her a speedy recovery.

Entries are closing soon for the following open shows, Birmingham KA, Wath & West Melton, 3 Counties Peke and Cav (toy dog show), Folkestone & Hythe and Woolwich & Bexley. Also closing shortly are Oswestry, Rhyl and Pontypridd shows.
Next weekend is the South of England Papillon Club Open Show at Chieveley.
