Welcome to papillon breed notes
Firstly a reminder about the AGM for the Papillon Club of Scotland to be held on 8th April 2018 at Station Hotel, Larbert, starting at 1pm. Agenda and voting papers have been sent out to members.
Here are main winners from the Papillon Club of Scotland’s open show held on the 24th February. BIS was Wendy Wilson’s Amicae Badger, BPIS was Liz Anderson’s Skyvana Unique at Northlyte. BV Kathy Smith’s Ch Papplewick Pretty in Pink at Adinaken JW ShCM and BPh Maskell’s Lilnrose Ears Looking at You. Judge for the day was Kirsty Wells. Best JH was Amy Whitehill and the Judge for JH was Laura Mandelson. Full results are on the clubs FB page. Cochrane Hall looks a very nice venue, let’s hope it remains open for the community to use.

At Ashton under Lyne Open Show last Sunday, Jackie Obrien’s Jorgealin Mandalay was awarded BOB.
Results from Caernarfon Canine Open on Saturday, Petula Humphrey’s Caraideas The Extra Mile To Gloynbyw 1st Papillon Open and BOB under judge Margaret Wildman (Wildax). Glynllifon Pocket Rocket At Gloynbyw (aged 13) 2nd in AV Toy Veteran and Bonmeshays Ruby At Gloynbyw 4th in AV Toy Veteran, again under judge Margaret Wildman.
Lynne George-Evans had a good day at Blackpool and Fylde toy dog show Sunday where Luna, Ch.Jorgealn Moon Magic, was Best of Breed and then went on to win Best in Show, under judge Terry Burgess.
Results from Cheltenham and District Canine Soc open show where Temelora Let it Be Magic JW won BOB under judge Helen Long and group 3 under judge Rob McLeod. Dee Olof’s Tarnock Runaway Ruby won BP and puppy group 3.
Well done all the winners.

Open Shows closing
Herts & Essex, Exeter, Exonian, Retford, Rydale, Nottingham Sherwood Forresters, Rochdale, Llandysul, Eastwood, Chertsey, Dunstable, and Chippenham all close by the 14th March and are on fossedata.
North Lincs closes soon.
The South Wales Papillon Club open show postal entries, close on the 12th March.

orthern and Eastern Papillon club have their open show on Sunday 4th March, judge Alison Atkins. A nice warm up for Crufts. Good luck to all those going, safe travels and enjoy!
The National Championship Show, postal entries close 16th March.
Entries are now online for Windsor Championship Show, papillon judge is Pat Cox. A lovely venue in Windsor Great Park.

“There is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, try to turn the door knob or get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years, canine attendance is not required.” Some of my paps need to read this!
