A lovely show to have had the honour to be asked to judge, many thanks to the committee, stewards & exhibitors for making this a very enjoyable day in such a wonderful location.
Best in Show.
Lewis’s – Trixhund Euphoria. Jw Shcm. (Dachs. Std L/h)
My first impression was how this boy took off around the large main ring with the most magnificent movement that left the others behind, superbly balanced & a powerful driving action keeping a topline that was strong & very breed typical, presentation & handling of the highest quality with attention paid to the finest detail, this is a dachshund of rare & outstanding qualities that is a real show stopper.
Res. Best in Show.
Stephens – Brightmeadow Strand of Gold. (G.S.D)
Very close to winning B.i.S, the outstanding natural movement & unaided stance this superb two year old male example of the breed showed today was the last thing I expected to see, presented a perfect outline, nothing extreme or out of order but an honest natural fit healthy specimen of the breed who was shown to perfection.
Best Puppy in Show.
Moon’s – Galvizach Ellexia. (Ger Spitz. Klein)
Was no doubt about this youngsters ability to take this award, see the breed critique which explains it all about this outstanding girl.
Res. Best Puppy in Show.
Lewis’s – Trixhund Paddington Bear. (Dachs. Std L/h)
Son of the B.i.S winner & no mistaking ‘ a chip of the old block’, all the star qualities of his father & the movement to match for one so young, this kennel certainly produces the goods & knows how to present them, this young lad should have a good future show career.

In this very close class this boy had the edge today when I thought my 2nd placing couldn’t get any better, it just did, masculine all round with head & body so well constructed & perfectly conforming to the male breed standard, so well turned out & presented in fully furnished immaculate coat which flowed when moving with his absolute soundness & balanced action which proved to be outstanding in the group, when deciding best in show he was one of the top three for consideration, I believe this one is a serious future contender in the breed. Best avnsc.
2nd – Bojanowski-Toms – Ch. Sistasu Silver Lining. Jw. Sh Cm. (Shih Tzu)
This outstanding male I gave best puppy in show to three years previously & now matured into a true champion has proved my faith in him, still has that superb ring presence & head & body that befits the standard so well & movement so impeccable but for a breeder to repeat a mating & produce a younger version that can supercede this one is a gamble that has paid off & proof of a top quality kennel.
