There were no championship shows for Pugs this weekend past in Ireland – a welcom respite for those still recovering from the Irish Circuit.
Over the Pond it was Toy Day at City of Birmingham Canine Association on Friday 31st August. The Show was held at Stoneleigh Park, and Pugs were Judged by Raye Parry – it was her first time giving tickets in the Breed.
The Dog CC (his 16th), and Best of Breed was awarded to Hill’s Ch/Lux Ch Calaquendi Nebuchadnezzar, JW ShCM, who also went on to win Group 2.
The Reserve Dog CC went to Storey’s Ch Rhodenash Kotten Klyde JW. The Bitch CC also went to the Rhodenash Kennel, and Best Puppy (Ch Rhodenash Kotten Kreme JW, and Rhodenash Kotten Kopy respectively). It didn’t stop there either – Kotten Copy won Puppy Group 2. Huge congrats to Kath Storey, and her team.
The Reserve Bitch CC went to Pike & Saffer’s Ch Ragemma Dream on Evisah JW.
Last, but by no means least, Best Veteran went to Teague’s Dog, Bringiton Mr Chang by Tarragem, and the new Best Junior award was given to Mackenzie’s young boy Popinjay Philharmonic at Supersound, who was later short-listed in the Junior Group.
That’s all for this week!
