There were no KC Champ Shows in England this weekend for Pugs. However, there were two shows in Ireland. On Saturday 4th November, Newtownards Canine Club held their yearly IKC Championship Show at Newtownsrds Rugby Club in the North, and on Sunday the 5th, Dun Laoighaire ran their Show in Cloughran at the National Show Centre, in Swords. Some “die-hards” showed both days; I didn’t!
On Saturday at Newtownards, Pugs were judged by Jos Dekker from the Netherlands. The Dog Green Star and Best of Breed went to Murphy’s Boynhams Brasilia, Jun Ch. No Reserve was awarded. The Bitch Green Star and RBOB went to
Murphy’s Popinjay Ruby Tuesday, and the Reserve went to Grant-Cooks CH Kerronmor Diamond in the Sky, CJW17, Jun Ch.
On Sunday in Cloughran, Pugs were judged by Ashling Leonard-Sloyan (Ireland) who awarded the Dog Green Star to Stewart’s Felice Benjamin Brittan at Glenalua, and the Reserve to Grant-Cooks Kerronmor Mr T. The Bitch Green Star & BOB went to Grant-Cooks Kerronmor Wings of an Angel, who attained her Irish Champion Crown on the day (subject to IKC Confirmation). The Reserve went to Wards Fayroymops Here to Stay.
That’s it for this week!
