There were no Championship Shows in England the weekend of 5th/6th of May, but in Ireland there was “The Mini-Circuit”, which consisted of two back-to-back Shows in Co Tipperary. For once the sun was splitting the trees both days, and quite a few or us are sporting “farmer tans” after the weekend.
On Saturday 5th of May, John Constantine (USA) judged Pugs at Fermoy All Breed International Championship Show held at the Ferryhouse Complex in Clonmel.
Mr Constantine awarded the Dog Green Star, CACIB and RBOB to Grant Cook’s Kerronmor Mr T, the Reserve Green Star to Stewart’s Felice Benjamin Britten at Glenalua, and the RCACIB to Murphy’s Boynhams Brasilia.
In Bitches, the Green Star and BOB went to Coogan’s Buzleo Light My Fire, the CACIB, and Reserve Green Star went to Grant Cook’s Kerronmor Wings of an Angel Jun CH, and the RCACIB went to CH Kerronmor Diamond in the Sky, CJW17, Jun Ch.
On Sunday, Dr Geoffrey Kerr (UK), judged pugs at South Tipperary’s all Breed Championship Show, held in Holycross, at the local GAA Centre.
Mr Kerr awarded Murphy’s Boynhams Brasilia Green Star Dog, and RBOB. The Reserve Green Star went to Murphy’s Harryky Nutty by Nature, Jun Ch.
In Bitches the Green Star and BOB went to Grant-Cook’s Kerronmor Wings of an Angel Jun Ch, who went on to win 4th in Group 9 under Mr Kerr. The Reserve Green Star went to Fisher’s Flash of Joy Innamorata.
That’s all for this week folks!
