VETERAN DOG/BITCH (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 4615 CARR, Mr M & Mrs D & CARR Miss L D Ir Sh Ch Laumidorn Rachel Carson Sh.CM
Seven year old, very typy. I make her just over square in length to height, but she loses her topline a little for me. She has a pleasing head, balanced, with plenty of work, slight divergence and has a moderate stop, a visible median line, good depth of muzzle, double dewlap, with good oval eyes of a reasonably good shade. She has a moderately long neck, slightly arched. She has some forechest, decent shoulders and upper arm and has good bone in forelegs, but her pasterns could be a shade stronger, looking from the front. She has a good shape to ribs and has a good underline and depth of chest, her hindquarters have a decent bend of stifle, with shortish rear pasterns, pleasing muscle tone. I liked her good texture to coat. She was a strong positive mover. Best Veteran.
SPECIAL BEGINNERS DOG/BITCH (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 4611 BEECHAM Miss D Grafskoe Gnezdo Arlo (Imp), I liked this very raw typy youngster, almost eighteen months of age, who will still continue to develop and is what you would possibly expect at this age. I thought his head was balanced, with a moderate stop, reasonable median line, decent ear length and set, will continue to develop work in head with some occiput visible. He has an oval eye, which will continue to darken, he has a double dewlap, moderate short strong neck. He is still at the leggy stage, but he has a pleasing shape to ribs, shortish loin, with straight forelegs and decent front pasterns and feet. He has a reasonable bend of stifle but needs to develop in width of second thigh. He moves quite well when settled, strong, enthusiastic and full of it. He displays Bracchi attitude. Reserve Best Dog Best Special Beginner.
2nd: 4624 SLADDEN Mr I Feel Of Pride Eva Elettra At Canemamans (Imp) A feminine chestnut bitch, of decent body proportions and a racy outline. She has a reasonable head shape, which will develop, low set ears, but is rather longish in neck, her topline was strong and she has a lower tail set. She has a good depth of chest, her elbows are tight on the move, her body shape is good with a strong shortish loin. She has straight forelegs, slightly angled front pasterns and tight feet. She has moderate hind angulation, short rear pasterns and has a nice texture to her coat. A sound mover.

1st: 4614 BRIDGER, Mrs T & BRIDGER Mr L Purdex Tormund Giantsbane – A raw baby, o/r, liked his proportions, albeit he is a little higher at the back end, at this stage. He has a very good typy head, of good proportions, some divergence, decent work around eye and the correct shaped eye which will darken as he matures. His ear set and length was quite good, his muzzle is a good shape with length and depth. He has a shortish neck, decent shoulders, bone and feet. His chest is quite deep and he has a strong loin, coat texture good. A bit naughty on the move, raw, typical puppy. He has so many positive points, he uses his tail well which is set low, he is happy and shows promise. Free standing is fine if that’s what you want to do, but you lose a certain amount of control and the ability to present the best aspects of the dog to the judge.

1st: 4623 SELLWOOD Mrs C & Mr D Jack Di Montericco (Imp) It – There is quite a lot to like about this w/chestnut male, he is strong and powerful particularly on the move. I like his proportions, at just over square, to height ratio, with a great attitude. He is well off for bone and substance. His head I found most interesting. It has a certain style, he has a well defined occiput with good work in back skull, moderate stop, and slight roman nose, he has good depth of muzzle his eyes are oval, well spaced, but small and I am sure they will darken a little. He has a moderately short neck, some forechest, decent shoulders, a good topline, his tail continues of the croup. I liked his good body shape, with deep chest of good width. His loin is short, he has a good under line. From the front he has good infill, correct bone, straight forelegs, with correct spoon shape feet, but well up on toes. He has moderate hind angulation. When going away he has superb back action, but coming on he could be tighter in elbow and his tail is carried quite highish.

2nd: 4619 FISHER Mrs T A & Mr L Mantello Di Montericco (Imp) A mature w/chestnut male, just over three years of age, longer than square, excellent head divergence, moderate stop, his occiput is very pronounced and he is rather narrow in skull for me. He has a barely discernible stop, good balance of skull to muzzle length, I liked his eye shape and colour, with correct ear size and set. He has a relatively short strong neck and good shoulders. He has a good topline, strong loin, but I would like more weight over his loin, which is quite long. His chest is deep. He has sweeping hindquarters, short rear pasterns and decent muscle definition, which delivered strong rear movement and he was steady in front. He used his tail well, but is in between coats.

1st: 4610 BARTHOLOMEW Mrs A M Owlspoint Trouble Shooter for Bartholeys, A flashy marked upstanding male, with a good outline. Lovely headed male, longish and angular, balanced with skull and muzzle of a super shape, moderate stop, good ear leathers and double dew lap. He has large oval eyes well set with good work around the eye and cheeks, giving an excellent expression. There is no coarseness anywhere. In the front he has good width of chest, straight columns and straight forelegs of oval bone. Good pasterns and feet. He has a barely perceptible arch to his neck, good shoulders, highish withers, correct topline, with good tail set. He has good muscle tone and is shown in excellent condition. Moves well with style. Best Dog.
2nd: 4612 BELL, Miss A & MADDOX Miss N Owlspoint Master Of Trouble Sh.CM I liked this male, right up my street. Super type, he has style with so many positives. I was disappointed to have to place him second, but it is about performance on the day. He is well built with a super head and expression, arched neck, good shoulders, decent body shape, short loin and proportions, with strong bone and good feet. His hindquarters are moderate angulated. I felt that the handler could not quite get his topline right today, maybe because the ground was a little uneven, but on the move he also overreached a little and his tail was carried a tad high for me. He was in good condition and has super muscles.
PUPPY BITCH (4 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 4609 ANGUS Mrs L V Braccorion’s Livin It Up, A really nice puppy with type, quite mature for eleven months. I liked the overall shape of her head, balanced well with muzzle, moderate stop, nice eye and expression with good ear shape. She has a very good topline, strong and held well on the move with a good underline. I liked her shoulders, width of chest and depth, she has good oval bone, straight forelegs, angled pasterns. I liked her shape of ribs, strong loin and fairly good bend of stifle. A really good mover in profile with drive and forward reach. She is developing along correct lines and is promising. Best Puppy.
2nd: 4622 SCOURFIELD, Mr A & KANTOR Mr B You Can Spend The Night With Danton.
Wow, what a super puppy is this one, 6 months and a week and very raw baby compared to the maturity of 1.
She has the most super head, with good divergence and plenty of work in skull, with a moderate stop, decent depth and length of muzzle, with good ear length. Her neck is strong and has a slight arch being the right length. She has good shoulders, good forechest, correct topline, good ribs well back, with straight bone and good hind angulation but not quite the strength of hocks yet of 1 at the moment. She is slightly longer than square in proportions and leg length is correct for her depth of chest. She is in good condition, an excellent mover and a ‘top winner in waiting’.

JUNIOR BITCH (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 4625 SLADDEN Mr I Tyrbechgyn Belive You Can At Canemamans – A square shaped feminine bitch of reasonably good proportions, decent leg length compared to depth of chest. Her head was feminine but just a little plain for me, it lacked a bit of divergence, although she had work in the skull, she has a nice dark eye though, and her muzzle seemed a little tapered. Her neck appears slightly longish and there is no blend between this and the shoulders, but she does have a decent topline and tail set, with a good body shape, decent spring of ribs, strong loin. She has quite good width of chest, straight forelegs, decent feet. In the rear she has only moderate bend of stifle and I would like more width of second thigh. On the move she was a little erratic. She has a nice texture to coat.

1st: 4616 CARR, Mr M & Mrs D & CARR Miss L D Braccibrook’s Wild One, – I loved this w/o three year old bitch from the moment she came into the ring. Stands out for good breed type, a lovely shape and build, with an excellent head, super balanced skull to muzzle, with pronounced occiput, good work in skull, some divergence, good median line, moderate stop, superb shape of muzzle. I liked her eye and expression. She has good ear length and set, super neck, powerful, blending into good shoulders, with a decent width of chest, straight forelegs, and correct feet. She has that gentle slope from withers to her anticlinal vertebrae and slight rise following onto a good angle of croup and very good tail set. She has a good body shape and underline, with very good hindquarters, with a good bend of stifle and strong hocks. On the move in side gait she presents a picture of energy her head carriage, topline and tail are held well, with good use of perpendicular hocks, excellent on the move fore and aft. Best Bitch and BOB

1st: 4627 TOWNS, Miss E & LAY Mr G Braccorion Carma’s Coming – Another beauty from the top drawer, chestnut, superb type, just my cup of tea. A picture of strength very nicely balanced with a superb outline, I loved her typy head with excellent expression, good work in skull and around cheeks, double dewlap and a strong neck, which is slightly arched, into good shoulders, withers and an excellent topline. She has a mature body shape with good ribs, loin and croup, strong bone but not quite the strength in forelegs as PG winner. She has good front pasterns and tight feet. She moved off with speed and energy, with good reach, not quite so positive in rear all of the time. Shown in good condition, well muscled, carrying just the right amount of weight. Reserve Best Bitch
2nd: 4621 POWELL Ms J M Madreliath’s Omaggio – Pretty white and orange bitch, with a touch of elegance. Different type than 1, with a good head, lovely divergence, quite low ear set. Has a longish neck, not quite the shoulders and upper arm of 1. She has a decent topline and tail set, a little longer in proportions than 1, but has a straight front of nice bone. I liked her ribs and general body shape, with slight rise in underline and with very good bend of stifle and decent width of second thigh. She is in good condition with a pleasing coat texture. A sound mover.
